Bridges Monthly Update #6

11, June 2008

ANOTHER BIG YEAR FOR BRDIGE CREWS ON BOTH RAILROADS!

The two properties currently have nearly $4 million in bridge work scheduled for the 2008 season.  Details of major projects are listed below:

·        Bridge R-76 on the Mason City sub is a complete rebuild and is being handled by the E-80 crew led by Jeremy Kroll. This bridge was destroyed in a derailment and was completed in early May

·        Bridge H313 on the Black Hills sub near Belle Fourche is being completely rebuilt with this work starting in 2007 and was completed in April of 2008.

·        Jamie Stark will utilize the New Ulm bridge crew to strengthen our wood pile bridges east of Owatonna, Minnesota to allow 286K loading and will complete this project by the end of June.

·        With the additional capital, we have now scheduled the strengthening of the bridges on the Onida sub from the 263k they currently are rated for to 286k loadings.  This looks like it will be a job that will be handled by the E-80 construction crew.
